General Terms and Conditions

The present General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter: “GTC”) set out the general contractual terms and conditions applicable to the purchase of treatments, gift vouchers and bath tickets provided by Spa Operator Kft. (hereinafter: “Service Provider”) at Mandala Day Spa, including the rights and obligations of the customer (hereinafter: “Customer”). The Service Provider and the Customer are hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Parties”.

By purchasing any treatment, gift voucher or ticket on-site or through the website, the Customer declares that they have understood, accepted and acknowledged the present GTC as binding.

The present GTC fully governs the rights and obligations of the Service Provider and the Customer in connection with the purchase of Mandala Day Spa services.

The contract between the Parties is concluded upon confirmation of the order/purchase by the Service Provider. The existence of the contract is evidenced by the electronically stored purchase data, which the Service Provider retains for the period specified in the accounting and taxation laws.

The contract for the purchase of a gift voucher between the Service Provider and the Customer is concluded for a fixed term, which lasts until the earlier of the voucher’s validity expiry date or its redemption.

Requests for correction of invoices issued based on incorrectly provided customer data can be accepted by the Service Provider within three working days from the date of invoice issuance.


Pre-Treatment Information

We would like to ensure that your visit to Mandala Day Spa is unforgettable and relaxing. Therefore, we kindly ask all our guests to refrain from using mobile phones within the Spa area and to speak quietly.

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your appointment to ensure a smooth and pleasant check-in. Before every treatment, please complete our health questionnaire so we may provide the most suitable experience. Kindly inform us if you are pregnant, have undergone recent surgery, or suffer from any medical condition. Please note that alcohol consumption before, during, or immediately after treatments is not recommended.


Special Provisions Regarding Gift Voucher Purchases

We can issue gift vouchers for any of our treatments (minimum value: HUF 30,000). Vouchers purchased at the reception are valid for 8 months from the date of issue; vouchers purchased online are valid for 6 months. Vouchers can only be redeemed in printed physical form.

Redeeming expired vouchers is governed as follows:

If the voucher holder notifies the Service Provider in writing of their intention to use the voucher before the expiry date, the validity of the voucher may be extended once, subject to individual assessment, for a maximum of 30 days.

To redeem a voucher, an appointment must be scheduled by phone or email. Please always provide the voucher number when booking. Due to high demand, we recommend arranging appointments several weeks in advance. Refunds cannot be provided pursuant to Government Decree 151/2003. (IX.22.), however vouchers are transferable, and may also be exchanged for another treatment of equal value. For treatments of higher value, only the price difference is payable.


4. Services Available to Guests

Guests of Mandala Day Spa may use the bathing facilities for a total of up to 3 hours before and after their treatment. If the chosen treatment package has a value of at least HUF 45,000, use of the bath area is complimentary. Below this amount, an additional HUF 6,350/person entry fee applies. The bath area may also be used independently from spa treatments.

Access to the Mandala Bath and the use of the pools is possible only with prior reservation. Reservations can be made by phone or through GetYourGuide. Guests with an online-purchased voucher may also book by phone.

Bath area capacity is limited. To maintain the luxury environment, access may be restricted—especially on weekends.

We cannot assume responsibility for lost items. Valuables may be stored at reception. Please always check the room and your locker after treatment, including the pockets of your robe.

Booking

Appointments can be arranged in person, by phone, or by email. All appointments are confirmed before the treatment. Your booking is valid only if we can reach you on the provided mobile number regarding your treatment. Please accept our confirmation call or respond to our SMS, as this is the only way we can guarantee your appointment.

Without confirmation, treatments without a deposit payment will be cancelled. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior for 1–2 hour treatments, 48 hours for packages, and 72 hours for groups.

For group bookings (from 3 persons) and reservations over HUF 30,000, a 50% deposit is required. Payment may be made at the reception at least 48 hours before the treatment (by cash or card), or via bank transfer or telephone card payment. Transfer details:

Cancellation Policy

Appointments may be modified. As time slots are personalised, we ask that modifications be made at least 24 hours in advance to allow us to reallocate the appointment.

  • Cancellations within 24 hours: voucher and deposit (booking fee) lose 50% of their value.

  • Cancellations within 12 hours: voucher and deposit lose 100% of their value.


Right of Withdrawal

The Customer may withdraw from the contract within 14 days without justification in accordance with Government Decree 45/2014. (II.26.). The right of withdrawal for gift vouchers expires 14 days after the date of voucher issuance.

If the Customer wishes to exercise their right of withdrawal, they must send an unambiguous withdrawal statement to the Service Provider by email (from the email address used during purchase) or by post to:

The withdrawal is considered timely if sent before the deadline.

If the Customer withdraws, the Service Provider will refund all payments within 14 days from receipt of the withdrawal statement, via bank transfer to the original payer. The relevant voucher(s) will be invalidated.

The Customer may not withdraw from the contract once performance of the service has commenced or been completed. If the voucher is redeemed within the withdrawal period, the right of withdrawal is forfeited.


Health-Related Information

Accidents and Injuries

Mandala Day Spa accepts no liability for injuries suffered by guests. All facilities are used at the guest’s own risk. Slip-resistant footwear must be worn in the bath area.

Health Condition

Please complete our health questionnaire before each treatment. Treatments may only be provided based on health suitability. Kindly inform us if you are pregnant, have undergone surgery, or have any condition that may affect your treatment. The consumption of alcohol or drugs before, during, or shortly after treatment is not recommended.


Safekeeping of Valuables

Lockers are available in the changing rooms; however, we recommend bringing as few valuables as possible, as jewellery must be removed prior to treatments. The Spa does not accept responsibility for valuables left in lockers.


Customer Service and Complaints Handling

Complaints may be submitted to the Service Provider’s customer service by post or email. The Service Provider will investigate and respond within 30 days. Personal complaint handling is available at the reception, with prior appointment.

Miscellaneous

For purchases made on the Website, the following legislation applies:

  • Act CVIII of 2001 on electronic commerce and information society services,

  • Government Decree 45/2014. (II.26.) on consumer contracts,

  • Act V of 2013 on the Civil Code.

Consumer protection authorities operate at county level; a list of competent bodies is available at the website of the National Consumer Protection Authority.

In case of disputes, the Parties shall first seek an amicable settlement. If this is unsuccessful, the Customer may turn to the Budapest Conciliation Board (address: 1016 Budapest, Krisztina krt. 99. III/310., postal address: 1253 Budapest, Pf. 10.).

All images and illustrations on the Website are protected by copyright. Unauthorized reproduction is strictly prohibited.

The Service Provider reserves the right to modify these rules without prior notice; changes will be published on the Website.
