More about the theme . . .

Deep tissue massage is a type of massage therapy that concentrates on rearranging deeper tissue layers of the muscles and connective tissues. This treatment uses many of the same movements and techniques of Swedish massage however the pressure is usually more. Some of its strokes also similar to the classic massage but its movements are slow and the pressure intense on tense areas.

Deep tissue massage usually focuses on a specific problem, such as chronic muscle pain, injury rehabilitation, and the following conditions:

*    Lower back pain

*    Chronic pain

*    Limited mobility

*    Recovery from injuries (like falls, sports injury)

*    Muscle tension in the hamstrings, IT band, legs, quadriceps, rhomboids, upper back

*    After doing sports , workout or bodybuilding

After the treatment:

Eating heavy meals are not recommended after the session. Drinking pure clean water will  help to flush out toxins that are released from muscles and properly rehydrate muscles, which can help to reduce muscle aches and stiffness. The best is to avoid strenuous activity after the therapy and also stretching can help to prevent muscle aches and pain after a deep tissue massage.
