The gentle 4 hands massage is a type of massage performed by two masseurs working at the same time, creating massage choreography four hands. Massage – a double stimulation – a double physical and mental relaxation. The amazing treatment ends with Shirodhara oil treatment.

Shirodhara is a form of Ayurveda therapy that involves gently pouring liquids over the forehead and can be one of the steps involved in Panchakarma (cleansing of the body according to Ayurveda).

The Sanskrit word, shirodhara breaks down into two ideas: shiro, meaning head, and dhara which means flow. Together they form a concept that aims to bring physical and emotional balance by rejuvenating the spirit and preserving health. This ancient Ayurvedic healing practice performed in India for over 5,000 years to harmonize the body, mind, senses, and soul.

The steady stream of warm oil is gently poured over the forehead to help soothe and heal a tired nervous system.  According to Ayurvedic teaching, the gentle but constant application stimulates healthy blood circulation to the brain and pituitary gland, while certain added herbs can provide relief from symptoms such as headache and neuralgia.
